Questions mandi, dispatch and delivery staff ask most often.

Can I change a grade after accepting a receipt?

No. Grade is fixed on acceptance because it determines what the vendor is paid. A genuine error needs the receipt reversed by a supervisor.

What happens to rejected produce?

It is not taken into stock and not paid for. The vendor takes it back; the rejection and reason stay on the receipt.

Can a vendor deliver without a purchase order?

Only if spot purchase is enabled for that vendor. Otherwise the gate will not accept the vehicle.

Can I move an order to a different slot?

Up to Allocated, yes, if the target slot has capacity. After picking starts the consignment is physical and has to go out in its slot.

Why was my order moved to a later slot automatically?

It was placed after the cut-off. The buyer is notified when this happens.

How is stock allocated between orders?

First-expiring-first-out. Produce with the least remaining shelf life goes first, which is not always the oldest lot.

What if the buyer accepts only part of the consignment?

Record accepted and rejected quantities per line. The order becomes Part Delivered and the invoice is raised for what was accepted.

Can an agent deliver outside their route?

Not from the route list. An exceptional delivery is assigned by a dispatch supervisor.

Is proof of delivery mandatory?

Yes, to mark an attempt Delivered. Which forms are accepted — signature, code, photograph — is configurable.
